Goodness & Mercy

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

All the days of my life;

Psalm 23:6 (NKJV)

Too many believers live like they have

a dark cloud over their heads.

Their thoughts and words are always

doom and gloom.

They live in constant condemnation.

They expect bad things to happen

and they end up receiving just what they were expecting.

But God's Word teaches us to anticipate just the opposite.

When we open our hearts to Jesus

and receive Him into our lives,

that dark cloud is lifted and replaced

with God's goodness and mercy.

As a believer in Jesus,

you have goodness and mercy following your around!

God's grace and favor are chasing you down!

Instead of living in guilt and shame,

God desires that you walk in His love and forgiveness.

Let go of self-defeating behaviors

and embrace His goodness and mercy!

Allow God's favor to surround you like a shield

so you can live the life of victory He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, I humbly come to You today

asking that You remove anything in my heart that would

keep me from You.
