Choose to Obey

Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions.
Exodus 23:21 (NLT)

When God spoke to Noah about building the ark, it had never ever rained.
Can you imagine that?
Noah knew when we began this project that people were going to ridicule him.
He had every opportunity to talk himself out of building the ark.
He could have come up with plenty of excuses.
But Noah did not do that.
Instead, he recognized that God had given him a difficult assignment
and he chose to obey.
Noah did not run from the challenge.
He decided to believe God.
It was Noah's obedience that opened the door for God to
supernaturally empower him to fulfill his destiny.
Today, Noah is one of the great heroes of the faith.

When you commit to obey God, no matter what--even when it looks impossible--
then God will do more than you could ask or think.
He will take you places that you've never dreamed of.
He will bring up out of you gifts and talents that you never even knew you had!
He will empower you to fulfill your destiny,
and you just may become the next hero of faith!

Have a blessed & powerful day!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling and equipping me.
I choose to be obedient to Your Word and follow Your voice.
I give You first place in every area of my life and trust that You
are empowering me to do Your will.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
