He who walks with the wise grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm.
Proverbs 13:20
One of the biggest influences in our lives
are the friends we choose.
Jim Rohn once said that we become
the average of our top five friends.
That is, in time we will emulate
the character traits, priorities, and
even the personalities of these
influential people.
For this reason,
if we are going to be all that God
has intended us to be,
we must wisely choose our friends.
Moving forward into what God has in store for you
means that you must be willing to make
some changes in your life.
This may mean changing some friends
that you are spending time with.
Maybe they were fine for a season in your life,
but you've outgrown them.
This is a new season, and in order for you to rise higher,
you have to break away from relationships
that are limiting you.
You need to develop some new friendships
with people who are going to pull you up
and inspire you to rise higher.
If you are the smartest person in your circle,
your circle is too small.
Find people who are smarter than you are,
people who will challenge you to stretch
to the next level and become everything God
created you to be.
In order to grow in wisdom, you've got to spend
time with wise people.
Choose your friends wisely so that you can walk
and live in the destiny God has in store for you.
Have a blessed & powerful day!
