Adultery... and every other form of immoral sexual activity... looks enticing on the surface, but will cost us more than we would ever want to pay. Adultery and pornography are the road to death. Instead of playing the game of seeing how close to the edge of sin we can walk without falling into it, we need to be doing just the opposite. Let's see how close to God we can walk and keep our lives both clean and free.
It's quite interesting to note how often this subject has come up of late through verses, through group discussions and in private conversations. I would not be surprised if the percentage of Christian families who are impacted by this whole realm was not higher than 47%.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the topic keeps recurring because many around me are in the midst of temptation or perhaps it is a word of wisdom just for me. The power of the prayers of many would not be amiss.
